Andrew D. Baudendistel

  Andrew D. Baudendistel has been with Votaw & Schwarz since 2009 and is a lifelong resident of Lawrenceburg.  Andrew attended Hanover College, where he was a member of the Men's Soccer Team and the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.  He majored in Political Science with a Minor in History and was also President of the Interfraternity Council.  He graduated from Hanover in May, 2004 and was accepted into the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.  While in law school, Andrew clerked for Judge Sally McLaughlin in the Dearborn Superior Court II.  Andrew graduated from Chase in December, 2008, and was admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana in May, 2009.  Andrew is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the United States Supreme Court.

  Andrew's practice currently focuses on Municipal Law, Adoptions, and Estate Planning.  Additionally, Andrew has experience with Criminal Defense and previously served as the Defense Attorney representative on the Dearborn Superior Court No. 1 Accountability, Change, and Community Court ("Drug Court") and the Veterans Treatment Court.  Andrew is currently the County Attorney for Dearborn County, the City Attorney for Rising Sun, the Town Attorney for Brookville, and also represents the Dearborn County Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals and the South Dearborn Regional Sewer District.

  Professionally, Andrew is a member of the Dearborn-Ohio Counties Bar Association and the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association.  Locally, Andrew is a member of the Sons of the American Legion - Post 239 and St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  He resides in Lawrenceburg with his wife and two children.
